The last month of the year begins with Sagittarius energy. The Sun is currently in Sagittarius and Saturn conjoins with Mercury in this sign along with the entry of Venus. This sign represents seeking the truth and looking beyond our primitive selves. We need to reach beyond our selfish needs and find compassion for those who need our humanity. This last month uncovered many hidden atrocities, and now we must ask ourselves, how do we move forward?
With the outer planets of Jupiter and Neptune making a favorable connection in water signs, our emotional power is ramped up to help us move toward a more compassionate and humanitarian approach. Treating each other with respect and using empathy will help get us to a more spiritual place.
The Full Moon on the 3rd in Gemini will create a bombardment of information. Try and sort out this information with an objective eye and not a subjective one.
The biggest event comes this month with Saturn leaving its travels through Sagittarius and entering its own sign of Capricorn on the 19th. It will move through this sign for close to three years. Since rules and government are ruled by this energy, they will be the most affected. The last time Saturn was in Capricorn, the Berlin Wall came down and we saw changes going on in the Soviet Union. It was also during the unrest in Tiananmen Square.
On the 22nd, the Sun enters Capricorn and comes together with Saturn. Use this time of the last part of the year to decide who or what you give your power and authority to. It’s important to start looking into the new year regarding the answer to that question, because it is time to take your power back and make sure your actions moving forward are consistent with your own personal beliefs and not someone else’s.

Jupiter’s early movement into Scorpio has already started shedding light on important events. Scorpio tends to hide things while Jupiter seeks the truth. The release of the JFK assassination files and the findings of Mueller’s investigation on Russian interference in the presidential election is just the beginning. Mercury enters the truth sign of Sagittarius on the 5th, so there will be much more gathering of information still to come this month.
The Full Moon in Taurus on the third asks us to evaluate our personal values as they oppose others. Are you living according to what you want or are you following what someone else wants from you? Because Venus enters Scorpio on the 7th, this month will bring out power plays and control issues into relationships.
One of the most challenging events comes on the 19th when the planet of transformation, Pluto, makes a hard aspect to the warrior planet Aries. This is about creating construction or destruction in one’s life. There is no in between with this energy. Stay objective and watch the battles you choose to get into. This affects Aries, Libra, Capricorn, and Cancer the most.
Fortunately, the Sun moves into Sagittarius on the 21st. If you don’t want to get into a fight with someone, this creates more of a flight response. But the Moon will join Pluto in Capricorn at the same time, so whoever you give power to that has authority over you will win in the end.
The Full Moon in Aries on October 5th forces us to look at our relationships to see if we have a balance between our individuality and commitments to others. Mars and Venus will be joined together in the service sign of Virgo making a challenging aspect to Saturn. Working on our relationships is the key to understanding the energy of this month.
Jupiter will leave the sign of Libra and enter Scorpio on the 10th and will travel approximately for a year through this sign. Scorpio represents shared resources, so it’s interesting that the new tax plan will be revealed and debated at this time. Wall Street might go on a wild ride of ups and downs during the debate on what will end up going through.
Due to Mars being square Saturn this month, we will feel as though we are ramming against a wall. This is especially difficult for those who don’t like obstacles put in their path. The best way to get through this is to tackle the things we can control and let go of the things we can’t.
The New Moon on the 19th (my birthday), will be in opposition to rebellious Uranus. All the Libras out there should do something they have never done before by themselves. By the 23rd, the Sun moves into Scorpio and Mars goes into Libra. It’s back to working on our relationships.
