Astrology Forecast July 2009 |
|
There will be a lunar eclipse on July 7th causing us to feel concerned about our security. With Mars in Taurus making a favorable aspect to Saturn, we could use this eclipse to be more responsible with money decisions and learn to settle for the things that are truly important.
Neptune and Jupiter make an exact conjunction on July 10th for the second time this year and awaken our humanitarian concerns and hopes for a better tomorrow. We will feel sentimental for those in need and want to provide comfort and security. Health care will continue to become a dominate topic in our country
The new Moon on July 21st is a total solar eclipse in Cancer. This marks a new beginning to how we can let go of the past. Feeling stuck in your shell and afraid to come out will not help you move forward. This is the time to nurture your desires and bring them forth to light

Astrology Forecast March 2009 |
 by Tom McMullan
The first week of March finds the Sun in Pisces opposing Saturn, making us feel isolated and overwhelmed. Our energies are low at this time. Concentrate on a rewarding project and try not to take on too much. On the 8th, Mars joins Neptune and Mercury enters Pisces. All reason and action fly out the window and a sense of wanderlust enters our thinking. This is a good time to look at our spiritual direction and to compare our material goals with our higher purpose to see if they are aligned. The full Moon in Virgo on the 10th joins Saturn and opposes the Sun. The conservatives will come out of the woodwork denouncing any changes taking place right now. Use this energy to make constructive change instead of resisting change.
Mars enters Pisces on the 14th making us feel we still don’t know what direction to go into. Fortunately with the Sun leaving Pisces and entering fiery Aries on the 20th, Mercury entering Aries on the 25th, followed by the New Moon the next day, we will finally start making some much needed progress. With four planets in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn, the end of March will be rather explosive. Try to keep tempers under control and conflict to a minimum.

Astrology Forecast February 2009 |
|
by Tom McMullan
Get ready for an active month with Mercury now direct and Venus entering Aries on the 3rd. February 5th is the second face off between opposing Saturn and Uranus. Uranus should win the battle this time around with five planets in Aquarius helping to herald in innovation and change. On the 9th, the lunar eclipse creates a window for all of us to see our individuality as it relates to and conjoins our humanity. It’s time to think differently and work together to make the necessary changes that will deliver us from despair.
On February 14th, the day we celebrate love and sharing, the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars in Aquarius. If that sounds familiar to any Baby Boomer out there, it’s because that aspect is from the song from the musical Hair. Supposedly when this happens then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars.
This is indeed the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

Astrology Forecast January 2009 |
The ongoing opposition between traditional Saturn and progressive Uranus, which is challenging old ways versus new ways, gets an infusion when Jupiter enters Aquarius (Uranus ruler) on the 5th. This will add tremendous opportunity for developing new ideas to find innovative solutions to our current malaise. It’s time to think outside the box and look toward the future in a big picture way. Venus in Pisces makes us extremely idealistic now where anything may seem possible.
Unfortunately, Mercury goes retrograde from the 11th through the end of the month. Some new ideas may not be received or understood by those who don’t wish to change the status quo in their lives. This is not the time to debate, but to take action and try alternative methods regardless. The Sun conjoining Jupiter in Aquarius on the 23rd and a new moon in Aquarius on the 25th means to expect the unexpected in our lives.

On October 28th, the new moon in Scorpio heralds in the message of transformation. It is time for something to die, so something can be reborn. It is no coincidence that the planet that represents tradition (Saturn) is exactly opposite the planet that represents change and progress (Uranus) on November 4th, the day of the election. John McCain, one of the oldest men to run for the president, symbolizes conservative tried and true old ways (Saturn) opposing Barack Obama, one of the youngest men to run for president, symbolizing a platform of progression and change.
We are all asked to address this energy in our own lives during this month. What are your fears? What are your dreams? The full moon in Taurus on the 12th opposing Mercury, Sun, and Mars in Scorpio will force us to dig deep within our souls and make us look at our values of the past that no longer serve the direction we wish to go. The caterpillar must die so that the butterfly can be free.
