I found the personal, DuBois side of this episode hauntingly familiar. Yet the A-story was nothing that I recognize. The beginning with the kids fighting and Allison being overly upset that �Joe� was eating a cupcake is real. First and foremost I have to say that Allison has never been possessed. This is a second story in which she is not in control. She is very much in control of herself and I have always felt this is part of the reason she is whom she is. Some people have the ability to communicate with the dead, but they do not have the strength of personality to draw boundaries. This is something many people, psychic or otherwise, need to learn.

This lets me answer the all time number one question I am asked. �Do you get enough sleep?� Yes I get enough sleep. I am not a big sleeper to start with, but now that I am forty I find I need more than before.

Another great episode! You have to love the twists that Glenn puts in the show. Allison was really left guessing about the ghost. I can't spoil it for the other countries or for people who watch it on Lifetime.

I watch the new episode of Medium on NBC with the commercials just like everyone else. I am so glad it is back on and will be airing new episodes through the end of the year. I am also glad Mecedes is advertising during the show, maybe there is some way I could get them to hook me up with a new car. I would gladly tell everyone I know how great it is.

I have a lot to say, but not much time. I have been thinking about this
since last night.
First, I do read the comments. Thank you. My discourse on the existence

We are up in the mountains of Arizona right now and preparing for
Christmas. Allison's father's birthday is Christmas eve. He passed away
6 years ago. I've been noticing signs that he has been sending us to

I'll take you on the journey of this year long diet because as with
most journeys, having a friend along can really breed success by

As a amateur stargazer I know that today is the winter solstice. This is the shortest day of the year and has historically been celebrated. I wish you all good tidings!

Today I am starting a new diet. Some would say I should wait until New Years but I am not because my new diet is based on the seasons. I call it the four seasons diet and I will let you know how it's going as the year progresses.

Missing Cat

Missing Cat When Allison's friend Domini was sick with cancer she took in a kitten. Of course there was no way Domini could care for this cat and herself our her children. Domini gave the kitten to Allison in December, the cat was four months old. On the way home with the cat a woman in a minivan took a left in front of Allison and hit her. The finale is hard to comment on because I know that people in other countries have not seen it and I would not want to spoil it. It does have a lot of twists and turns. I very much enjoyed watching the way Glenn tells a story and the actors act it out. Now we have to wait through the whole summer for the next season. Maybe I will go back and watch the first season and write comments on those.

The Medium episode "Being Joey Carmichael" was kind of weird for me to watch. TV Joe learned a great lesson about himself and his wife. I re-lived learning those lessons while watching this episode. Chili Cook-Off

Wish me luck at for tomorrow's (March 2nd) big chili cook-off at the Elk's lodge. It is open to the public for a $5 cover charge for all the chili you can eat. You vote with your quarters. All proceeds go to charity. I'll be there with my chili. Allison will be on a plane to Atlanta.

Buying Christmas presents for Allison is always hard. This year I did one thing she never expected, I listened. On her list of things to do before she dies is attend race car driver's school. Here in Phoenix we have the Bondurant driving school at Firebird Raceway.
