 We start off the New Year with
the Sun and Mars together in Capricorn. This is a great combination
of energies that asks us to set goals and take care of practical
matters.
The previous year was a difficult one for most, as everything seemed to be in limbo. 2011 will be quite different as we experience the last conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter in Pisces on the 4th, propelling us to find breakthroughs and innovative ideas that come out of nowhere. This is not a time to think small, but a time to open our minds to infinite possibilities... On the 7th, Venus enters the adventurous sign of Sagittarius asking us to take some risks in love and money. This dynamic will increase as we head to the middle of the month when Mars enters the revolutionary sign if Aquarius and even further as the Sun moves into the same sign on the 20th. Best of all, Jupiter will enter the pioneering sign of Aries on the 22nd, heralding in the beginning of great changes to come. This means January 2011 is the beginning of a big shift that this year will hold for all of us and the progress that is needed to get out of the slump we have been in for the last 2 years. But remember, our nature is to subconsciously resist change for the sake of security, so I would ask you to move past your resistance and fears and be a part of the progress and growth you truly wish to achieve.
