The beginning of May finds the Sun squaring Mars in fixed signs while Mercury stays retrograde in the fixed sign of Taurus. This creates an atmosphere of stubborn resistance.No one seems to want to budge from their agenda right now, so don’t try and push things that don’t want to be pushed. Mercury will go direct on the 11th which will help things move forward, yet still slowly. Because Saturn is in its continual opposition to Uranus, the conservative side of ourselves seems to be functioning at a higher rate during this Taurus time of year. With Venus in Gemini, this would be a good time to discuss differences with each other and respect other’s point of view. When Venus enters sensitive Cancer on the 19th, our relationships will take on a more caring attitude. We might want to focus on our family relationships at this time. The Sun enters Gemini on the 20th which will open up conversations and stimulate our discussions. It might be time to put your summer travel plans together or even go on a brief trip, especially when the Moon becomes full in Sagittarius on the 27th.
